As the stationery designer for this beautiful April wedding, I had the pleasure of creating a cohesive paper suite that embodied the couple's vision of elegant botanical beauty.

The Stationery Story

The inspiration for Katie and Taylor's wedding stationery came from their love of classic elegance with a fresh, garden-inspired twist. We developed a stunning blue botanical theme that wove throughout every piece of their paper goods, creating a cohesive narrative from the very first save-the-date to the final thank-you note.

Design Details That Made the Difference

The signature element of their stationery suite was the intricate botanical border featuring delicate blue florals and foliage. This hand-drawn motif appeared on:

Wedding Invitations: Clean, classic typography paired with the botanical border created an invitation that was both sophisticated and whimsical from our Harper Collection.
Envelope Liners: Coordinating blue floral patterns that guests discovered as they opened their invitations
Welcome Signs: Large-scale versions of the botanical design welcomed guests to the celebration
Reserved Signage: Elegant silk ribbon tied to each reserved guest’s chair
Cards & Gifts Signage: Beautifully scripted directional pieces that guided guests throughout the reception

The color palette of soft blues against crisp white created a fresh, timeless look that complemented the natural beauty of the Covington Country Club venue perfectly.

A Perfect Partnership

Working with such an incredible team of vendors made this wedding truly shine. Amanda Price Events orchestrated every detail flawlessly, while Theresa Elizabeth Photography captured the beauty of both the stationery and the celebration with her signature romantic style.

The botanical theme in the stationery was brought to life beautifully by Love in Bloom's stunning floral arrangements, featuring soft whites, blush pinks, and peachy ranunculus that echoed the delicate florals in our paper designs. The combination of tall, clear glass candlesticks and low, lush arrangements created the perfect balance of elegance and romance.

From Paper to Party

One of my favorite aspects of this project was seeing how the stationery set the tone for the entire celebration. The blue botanical motifs that guests first encountered on their invitations were carried through to the welcome signage, creating a sense of anticipation and cohesion that made the wedding feel like one beautifully curated experience.

The clean, classic typography we chose for the invitations complemented the venue's timeless architecture, while the botanical elements added that perfect touch of organic beauty that made everything feel fresh and current.

The Perfect Day

Katie looked absolutely radiant in her lace gown with intricate beading details, while Taylor was dapper in his classic black tuxedo. Their joy was evident in every photograph, and it was clear that every detail of their celebration reflected their personalities and love story.
